People nowadays are usually having the habit of picture taking. Yes, picture taking – pictures to be kept in memories for life, because of hi – tech technologies in this current generation, people can easily take pictures instantly in many ways, through cell phones, digital cameras and etc. And because we have this kind of habit, of course, we want our pictures to be taken perfectly, so then, there goes the image editing.

We edit photos to make it more beautiful and good to look at(of course)...now, talking about photo editing, there’s this famous software that can help us to edit our photos easily. The Adobe Photoshop or simply Photoshop is a graphics editing program developed and published by Adobe Systems. The Adobe Photoshop 7.0 was the latest and the newest version of Adobe Photoshop today. It delivers powerful, industry – standard photo – editing for professional designers who want to produce sophisticated graphics and photos for the Web and for print. Included with Adobe Photoshop 7.0 is ImageReady 7.0 and its powerful set of Web tools for optimizing and previewing images, batch – processing images with droplets in the actions palette, and creating rollovers and GIF animations. Photoshop and Imageready combined offer a comprehensive environment for designing graphics and pictures in the web.

Breaking - Up: Damn the DISTRUST!

Filed under: A Little Something, Love/Heart Talks - kAreN maE @ 5:49 pm

Do thoughts of your ex fill your mind every second of everyday? Does the mere mention of your ex’s name tie your stomach into a huge, painful knot? Do you get that sinking, elevator feeling in your heart every time you think about him? Do you think you’ll never feel better again? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then good! At least I know that I am not alone…heheh..emoticon

I had a break – up experience with a certain boy who was once my boyfriend (obvious bah?). for any other reason as well, we broke up maybe because were not really for each other or should I say misunderstanding! . I said, I don’t like to think of it as misunderstanding or whaterver! I like to think of it as Investigative Cleaning!..nyahahah..emoticon

I’m willing to bet that most of the readers have experienced a breakup at least once in their lives…right? In a breakup, stages that a person can feel – anger, sadness, resentment, hatred, insecurity, just to name a few, hmmm… or whatever feeling I may have during the breakup. I’ve come to the conclusion that the absolute worst part of going through a breakup is that one of the common reactions is insane distrust—distrust of yourself, the person you were with, and of the relationship’s meaning. This is something I’ve been struggling with throughout my breakup from my bf, which has officially gone on for one week exactly. Unfortunately, I may be aware that I’m filled with doubt, but I haven’t quite figured out how to stop doing it.

Stem Cell Therapy

Filed under: Health - kAreN maE @ 5:57 pm

Stem Cells have the remarkable potential to develop into many different cell types in the body. Serving as a sort of repair system for the body, they can theoretically divide without limit to replenish other cells as long as the person or animal is still alive. When a stem cell divides, each new cell has the potential to either remain a stem cell or become another type of cell with a more specialized function, such as a muscle cell, a red blood cell, or a brain cell.

The stem cell therapy sounds like a relatively new concept, but there are stem cell therapy treatments with which most of us are already familiar. Bone marrow transplants are one type of stem cell therapy that has been in use for the treatment of leukemia for a long time. Stem cell therapy seeks to replace damaged, diseased, or malfunctioning cells anywhere in the body with healthy cells.

When a stem cell is introduced to a specific part of the body, that stem cell receives signals that tell it how to mimic the other cells around it. For example, if a stem cell is introduced to the brain, it will take on the job of a brain cell. This is how stem cell therapy treatments work; stem cells are introduced to the diseased or damaged area and used to create new, undamaged tissues to repair that area of the body.

The history of stem cell research actually has its beginnings in the mid 1800’s. Scientists first discovered that certain cells within the body could develop into other cells. Stem cell research has since developed stem cell therapy treatments like bone marrow transplants, stem cell therapy for Parkinson’s, and stem cell therapy for Alzheimer’s disease.

Stem cell therapy is a promising treatment for all kinds of degenerative diseases because of the stem cells’ regenerative abilities. The history of stem cell research shows us that stem cell therapy holds the answer to slowing or stopping the aging process, and further stem cell research will hopefully find the key to curing all disease.
